This pen is refilled with PLA or ABS plastic. Plastic for such a handle can also be purchased on AliExpress.
Depending on the type of plastic with which you are going to work, you need to put the name abs or PLA on the handle. The temperature will be set automatically, but you can also change the melting temperature yourself.
The kind of plastic and temperature can be seen on a small display. Next to this display are buttons for adjusting the temperature and changing the kind of plastic.
During operation, the plastic is molten, extruded outside and frozen. It's freezing fast. If a thin layer, then in a couple of seconds. The layer is thicker in seconds 15.
Of course working with this pen is not so easy. We need to get in.

Классная вещь! пока получились конечно не очень красивые поделки, но мы первый раз пробовали. :) Тут нужен опыт. будем тренироваться.
Купила старшему ребёнку 5 лет, сложновато, но кое-что получается.
Принцип работы такой, что вставляется пластиковый стержень, который проходит по трубку и внизу нагревает до температуры 200-220 градусов и выходит наружу при нажатии кнопки.
Так что внизу трогать нельзя, горячо, поэтому и очень маленьким детям нельзя пользоваться.
Можно отрегулировать скорость подачи, также есть кнопка вытаскивания пластика обратно, если вы хотите поменять цвет например. Если вытаскаете стержень, то советую обрезать неровный край, иначе потом когда вставите его снова, застрянет в ручке.
Ещё на экране отображается температура и можно выбрать тип пластика: ABS или пластик.
Пыталась сделать вертикальную конструкцию, пока не очень, но в интернете есть всякие видеоуроки. Можно при желании изучить))

ручка пришла быстро, до города 8 дней. Комплект сама ручка + кабель питания, и инструкция. Ручка на 5v т.е. ее можно питать от повербанка что расширяет диапазон применений. носик похож на керамику. пластик 1.75 мм переживал нормально, sbs тоже. подающая шестерня вгрызается в пластик очень хорошо. сопла сменные.
